And I Come Back Even Stronger

Hello there! How are you doing? Hope you’re having a great time. And If just in case you’re not, I’ve got a lovely song for you. It’s specifically about a woman, but hey, I don’t discriminate. You need some encouraging word with some fun music I’ve got it covered. Don’t worry about stuff. Have an ice cream cone and go walk on green grass. You’ll figure out some way to deal with life and come back even stronger. Yea..!? Agree. Here’s a quote from the lyrics.

Oh yes, I am wise
But it’s wisdom born of pain
Yes, I’ve paid the price
But look how much I gained

Enjoy the song. The weekend is almost here. Take care of yourselves. Loads of love.

Dear Future Husband..!! hehe..!

One more Youtube music video post. If you asking why, I’m asking why not!

It’s a really nice song and most girls will agree with almost everything in the song. Here is the few thing like,

You gotta know how to treat me like a lady
Even when I’m acting crazy
Tell me everything’s alright

And don’t forget

Don’t have a dirty mind
Just be a classy guy

And main thing,

After every fight
Just apologize..
..Even if I was wrong
[Grin] You know I’m never wrong
Why disagree?
Why, why disagree?

Take care of yourself people. Enjoy the lovely weekend with your loved ones.

Favorites:- Female Oriented Films

Hey there,
How are you??

I like movies alot(if I haven’t mentioned it already). So in this post today I’ll list down some of my favorite women oriented movies. If you’re thinking why, the reason is ‘just because’. Of course there are so many more and much better ones out there but these are the ones that I find best, So here is the list.

1. No One Killed Jessica

This is the film based on real murder case of Jessica Lal. It has both my favorite actresses Rani Mukharji as a journalist who’s more of an activist and Vidhya Balan as the sister of the victim. The film is all about how they team up and tries to bring the justice to the case.

2. Kill Bill

All time favorite film of mine staring beautiful Uma Thurman. Honestly the reason I watched film for the first time was the big samurai sword with yellow background. It’s a story of vengeance of an assassin, a killer and a mother. Watch it if you haven’t yet.

3. Kahani

I personally think this is really one of those film worth watching. The only Indian film I could not predict the end of so far. The story revolves around Vidhya balan as a pregnant woman who is in search of her missing husband. The search brings her to Kolkata from London but the things gets real hard when everybody she comes across denies of ever seeing her husband.

4. Columbiana

Another one of my personal favorite. Another vengeance story of a lady. After witnessing her parents being killed she grows up to be an assassin. The film was realesed in 2011 staring Zoe Saldana and many great artists.

5. Black Swan

This film is a psychological thriller/ horror staring Natalie Portman as a ballet dancer who gets a lead role in ‘Swan Lake’. She is just perfect for the role of white swan- The Princess Odette, but she starts losing her mind when she becomes more and more like the black swan, Odile.(You know, the psychological thriller part)

6. Mother India

Mother India is the oldest film in this list released in 1957 staring Nargis, Sunil Dutt, Rajendra Kumar. It’s Hindi epic melodrama, a real classic. In this film poverty-stricken woman tries to raise her sons through all the challenges life throws at her. During all this she never lets go of her moral code.( keep tissue papers handy if you watch it)

7. Hanna

This film released in 2011 is about a sixteen year old girl who is raised by her father to be an assassin. She is sent on a mission across Europe but while she’s on the mission she is tracked by a ruthless Intelligence agent. It’s a real action thriller. Just love it.

8. Dor

This film released in 2006 featuring Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag, Shreyes Talpade as the lead artists. The story is about two women from really different background, living miles apart. But the life changing tragic incident brings these strangers in a situation where their friendship is tested. (Did I mention all three are just incredible actor and actresses, just love them)

9. The Help

This film is adapted from the book of the same name written by Kathryn Stockett, the movie was released in 2011. The cast consists of Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain, Ahna O’Reilly, Chris Lowell, Sissy Spacek, Mike Vogel, Cicely Tyson, LaChanze, and Allison Janney. This film is about the racism faced by the ‘help’. They are the ones who are hired by the white families to raise their kids. The first time I watched I cried. I love this film. Must watch.

10. Parineeta

It’s an Indian musical, romantic drama released in 2005 was adapted from Bengali novel Parineeta by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. The cast in the film consists Vidhya Balan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Raima Sen, Diya Mirza. Story revolves around the childhood lovers and their family. The romance is upset by the arrival of another men. What happens next, will they part, will they find their way?

(some parts of film descriptions are taken from Wikipedia like the lists of artist’s names(I am so bad remembering names))

So these are some of the films I like. Which are your favorite female oriented films..???? Lemme know.

Loads of love, thank you for reading, take good care of yourselves..

“My opinion” on “My Choice” by #VOGUEEMPOWER

A collaboration between director Homi Adajania and Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, and produced by JSW and Sangita Jindal, ‘My Choice’ is one more short film made dedicated to #VogueEmpower, Vogue India’s social awareness initiative. Based on a piece written by Kersi Khambatta, the video has been shot by Tassaduq Hussain. (SOURCE: Description box of The YouTube Video)

This video is supposed to be a short film for women empowerment. Honestly in the beginning I liked it and then it changed at 0:53. They say it’s for empowerment of women in India. I don’t see how having sex outside the marriage does that. Having a choice about everything is a free will. And I’m all about free will.( For both Men and Women) But when you are given choice, you can’t always be selfish. In name of feminism and empowerment you can’t run around doing what so ever you wish and than cry and complaint that your partner/boyfriend/fiance/husband cheats on you when you’re doing the same thing, you can’t have your way in everything in the name of feminism. That’s not empowerment, that’s not real feminism.

When you make a choice, more like whatever actions you take there always will be a reaction to that, you can call it consequences as well. You must be familiar to the Newton’s third law of motion, the same concept.

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Now because of this one thing the whole idea behind the film, every single effort and all the good intention is all gone in waste.(That is what I feel) I’m just very much disappointed. Feminism is not having your own way in everything ‘coz you’re woman and you’ve suffered in silence for centuries.( I already said it I know but I’m upset here..)

I wish for the world where we don’t need any concept of feminism. A world where is everything actually is about equality.

This post is me rambling around over a video. Sorry about that. I just have high expectation from the Vogue India for actually working for women empowerment in ways where it would actually make changes. I want to see the ladies of my country treated equally. I wanna see that happen before I get married and hopefully have my own daughter. I’m an optimistic dreamer who dreams of better world.

Again I’m sorry for rambling about stuff. If you’re still reading thank you so much. You’re a sweetheart.

Loads of love to you all. Take good care of yourselves.

TUDles..!! ❤ ❤ ❤

P.S. Don’t get me wrong here, I like the concept of the video. I just wish the approach would be less selfish. Of course it’s my opinion, it can differ from yours. Don’t take it personally
