Quote: Love Comes Softly

Missy could fall down and hurt herself, even if I’m walking right there beside her. That doesn’t mean that I allowed it to happen. She knows, as far as unconditional love, I’ll pick her up and I’ll carry her. I’ll try to heal her. I’ll cry when she cries. And I’ll rejoice when she is well. In all the moments of my life, God has been right there beside me. The truth of God’s love is not that he allows bad things to happen. It’s His promise that he’ll be there with us when they do.

— Clark Davis from Love Comes Softly(TV movie)

THE RULES ARE:

Nominee:

Ok, I am going to share one of my favorite paragraph from Bible today.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

–The Bible (NIV)

There is a song by Don Moen inspired by this same verse. I heard it first time when I was a kid and fell in love with it. There are times when you are tired and exhausted, when you just want to give up but we forget that God is always there with His hand stretched out to us so that we would just hold It and He’d get us back up on our feet. We don’t have to do everything on our own. We don’t have to deal with life alone. God is always there for us. Let’s not forget it.

Take good care of yourselves and each other. Loads of love.

And I Come Back Even Stronger

Hello there! How are you doing? Hope you’re having a great time. And If just in case you’re not, I’ve got a lovely song for you. It’s specifically about a woman, but hey, I don’t discriminate. You need some encouraging word with some fun music I’ve got it covered. Don’t worry about stuff. Have an ice cream cone and go walk on green grass. You’ll figure out some way to deal with life and come back even stronger. Yea..!? Agree. Here’s a quote from the lyrics.

Oh yes, I am wise
But it’s wisdom born of pain
Yes, I’ve paid the price
But look how much I gained

Enjoy the song. The weekend is almost here. Take care of yourselves. Loads of love.

3 Days Quote Challenge: Day 2

Hello there.! So It’s the second day of the 3 day quotes challenge. I would like to thank AKIRAA again for this nomination. I hope you all are enjoying this as well because I sure am.

So today I am sharing this quote from one of my favorite show Grey’s Anatomy. I am one of this grown up who shows that she has outgrown her fairy tale world but secretly hopes that someday it will come true(No matter how silly-childish that may sound). And I wish it does not just for me but for everyone. Because I am sure everybody has their own version of fairy tales which they might wish it to be their reality someday. And today’s post is for all the dreamers who still has courage to dream. I wish you all your dreams. I wish you all happiness and love and fairy tale.

You know how when you were a little kid and you believed in fairy tales, that fantasy of what your life would be, white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.

– Dr. Meredith Grey (Grey’s Anatomy)

3 Day Quote Challenge: Day 1

Hello There All Of You Lovely People.! How are you doing today? I hope good. If not here’s something for you.

VIRTUAL HUG

Feeling better?!

I wanted to share that I have been nominated to this 3 days quotes challenge by lovely blogger and friend AKIRAA. (Isn’t that a lovely name) I was secretly hopping for a nomination for this one because (as you might know) I love challenges and tags and this one is about quotes. How can anyone not wish to be nominated for this one.!!!? I’m so glad. And I hope you check out all the lovely blogs I have linked cause they’re all amazing. So here we go:

“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.”
― Robert Frost

I love this quote because it’s blunt and frank and it is not too cheesy positive still it isn’t negative either. No matter what you go through in life, it’s never the end. It’s a chapter of your life. And the next one will start soon. I like the quote because it doesn’t say it’s going to be easy or all fairy tale. It kind of tells you to pick yourself up and keep going. It such a simple quote that you can interpret it in your way and make the most of it. Like a metaphor.! At least that’s how I see it and that’s why I like this one.

BTW The Rules Are:

  1. Post 3 of your favourite quotes each per day for 3 recurrent days. The quotes can be of any other people or it may come straight from your own heart.
  2. Nominate 3 or more bloggers with each post to challenge them.
  3. Don’t forget to utter a thankful word to the person who nominated you.

Nominations:

I hope you all participate and go visit each other’s quote posts too. I am surely going to. I love you all. You’re all amazing people. I wish you all amazing fun weekend. Take good care of yourselves and be nice one another.

Gift a quote! Easy DIY

Hello there..! How are you doing? Hope you’re well and having a really nice day.

So May is one of those months when so many people I know have anniversaries and birthdays including myself plus Mother’s day is just around the corner. And I was thinking of what to do and I came across this photo in which I made a canvas quote for a friend on his birthday last year(I think it was last year). So I thought I’ll share this here as it gave me an idea on what to gift my mom dad on their anniversary which is on 14th May. I’ll make another post on what I make for them later.(You know can’t ruin surprise.)

IMG_20150122_194400

  • So all I did here was take a canvas (choose the size according to how long your quote will be) and than had a really old book which was sitting there.
  • I took out some really shabby looking pages(make sure those pages have good nice things written, you don’t want sad upsetting suicidal thoughts on your gift) and stick them with glue+water mixture.(before you start sticking the pages on canvas wait.. keep reading, read till the end and than start your project.)
  • So, Before you stick them arrange them and see how they look, arrange it in different ways until you are satisfied. OK go ahead FREEZE THEM…!(imagine the Lego movie villain, haha)
  • Let it dry over night.
  • Next morning write down your quote(keep it light, you don’t want it to be visible through the color you apply.)
  • Next I took some black poster color(You can use whatever color you want just make sure they are visible on the background you choose). I honestly should have gone for ink instead as it would be better finish.
  • Ok let it dry.
  • Next day wrap it up and GIFT IT..!! (got real excited there)

Hope you give it a try and if you do you can tweet me the picture with #GIFTAQUOTE. I would love to see. And if you are real great with brushes and colors go ahead and use the background and make some masterpiece. Because it doesn’t have to be only quote. It can be anything you want. Have a great day.

Loads of love. Take good care of yourselves all you lovely people.
