Hello there.! How are you doing? Hope you had a great week.
I wanted to share this website I came across today. It’s Change.Org. It is a platform for people all over the world trying to make changes in the world and start a campaign and get some support to try and get some solutions. You can go check the link and support the causes which are close to your heart. I have signed a petition by People for animals I will leave a link for you. The SOUND of SILENCE.
I hope you have a fun weekend. Loads of love. Take care. ❤
Hello There.! How are you? I hope you’re good cause I am gonna talk and I hope the conversation continues in comments. There are few things I feel really strongly about. And this one is one of them.
If you are one of the people who knows everything goes on in the world, you might know about the Project Semicolon. It is mainly for mantle health awareness and support. They encourage people to draw or get a tattoo of a semicolon to show support to people suffering from any mantle illness and also the people who has lost someone because of suicide. If you have read one of my post about it you’d know how I feel about the whole suicide thing.
If I could get a tattoo I would have already. Not the semicolon one particularly but something related to mantle illness. I am a Christian girl who believes that the body is God’s temple and I can’t ruin it with marks and tattoo. I though drew the semicolon and posted it here to show my support.
I wanted to write about this because It’s important and there isn’t so much awareness about mantle health in my country. If you’re going through something related, talk to someone and get help and know that you’re not alone. When you feel like everybody has gave up on you One Person is always there for you. God is always there for you. Always. Don’t give up.
Take Care of yourselves.! =)
I stumbled upon this video of a 12 year old girl talking to United Nations Conformance On Environment and Development in Rio de Janerio held from 3rd to 14th June 1992. And it is really something that leaves you speechless and I had to share this here. I don’t have anything to say or add to it. But I do wonder how the world is going to be when my kids will be of my age and how they’ll survive. It’s true that “You have to be the change you want to see” but I can’t help think if it’s enough.
Well It’s too late to make a post related to Earth and environment because Earth day’s gone quite while back. But it’s not really that late.
Hello there.! How are you doing? Hope you had a good day. So in today’s post I wanna talk about this project called RedRampProject by H & R Johnson. I came across it on youtube while watching prank videos. In the video they talked to three different people with different physical challenges and did something really nice so that all the physically challenged people would have one really lovely day at a beach without being carried by others. I’ll let you check out the whole video.
If you remember last week I had posted about first rain in the city. That day something happened, while I was about to leave from classes and get home it started raining so crazy so we had to run and get under some shade. And there were this family waiting to get their driver to come pick them up with an old lady in wheelchair. She was a patient who just got discharged from the hospital. The issue here was that the wheelchair ramp was hardly 2 inches bigger than the wheelchair, No railing and it was in the worst condition. We(four person) had to pull the wheelchair up under some shade. And the parking wasn’t leveled so when it rained there were puddles and mud. It was entirely unsafe for anyone. when it stopped raining they again had to struggle with getting the lady to the van so they can get home. It was just really bad.
This is not a small issue as most of the public places does not even have proper wheelchair ramp. And there are over 10 million people who use wheelchairs or crutches to move around. H & R Johnson are working on getting the policy-makers to notice this issue and make our country accessible for physically challenged people though this project. I hope that you’d all who are in India would sign this petition and ask others to do so as well to make a difference. This is a good cause and if we won’t do it who else is going to!??
I hope to see a new India which would be for real an INCREDIBLE INDIA.
Loads of love to everyone out there. Have a lovely day. Be kind to one another. And Take Care.!
A collaboration between director Homi Adajania and Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, and produced by JSW and Sangita Jindal, ‘My Choice’ is one more short film made dedicated to #VogueEmpower, Vogue India’s social awareness initiative. Based on a piece written by Kersi Khambatta, the video has been shot by Tassaduq Hussain. (SOURCE: Description box of The YouTube Video)
This video is supposed to be a short film for women empowerment. Honestly in the beginning I liked it and then it changed at 0:53. They say it’s for empowerment of women in India. I don’t see how having sex outside the marriage does that. Having a choice about everything is a free will. And I’m all about free will.( For both Men and Women) But when you are given choice, you can’t always be selfish. In name of feminism and empowerment you can’t run around doing what so ever you wish and than cry and complaint that your partner/boyfriend/fiance/husband cheats on you when you’re doing the same thing, you can’t have your way in everything in the name of feminism. That’s not empowerment, that’s not real feminism.
When you make a choice, more like whatever actions you take there always will be a reaction to that, you can call it consequences as well. You must be familiar to the Newton’s third law of motion, the same concept.
|III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Now because of this one thing the whole idea behind the film, every single effort and all the good intention is all gone in waste.(That is what I feel) I’m just very much disappointed. Feminism is not having your own way in everything ‘coz you’re woman and you’ve suffered in silence for centuries.( I already said it I know but I’m upset here..)
I wish for the world where we don’t need any concept of feminism. A world where is everything actually is about equality.
This post is me rambling around over a video. Sorry about that. I just have high expectation from the Vogue India for actually working for women empowerment in ways where it would actually make changes. I want to see the ladies of my country treated equally. I wanna see that happen before I get married and hopefully have my own daughter. I’m an optimistic dreamer who dreams of better world.
Again I’m sorry for rambling about stuff. If you’re still reading thank you so much. You’re a sweetheart.
Loads of love to you all. Take good care of yourselves.
TUDles..!! ❤ ❤ ❤
P.S. Don’t get me wrong here, I like the concept of the video. I just wish the approach would be less selfish. Of course it’s my opinion, it can differ from yours. Don’t take it personally
WARNING: The writer is angry, you might see some mean offensive stuff in this post.
oh yeah, we need to save internet now..! I mean WHAT…!!??? I’m annoyed. UGGHHH…!!
Why people are not happy with whatever money they are making? Why you have to rip off people so much when your services already sucks..!!??? GGGRRRRRRRR…….!!
Do you know for last two years I have waited to watch Fast and Furious 7. And finally I watched it today. The film is worth every single paisa(dime/penny).
The action is amazing. The story is perfect. The acting of every single person in the film is splendid. The ending is just so emotional. It made me cry in the theater front of everybody. I loved the way they honored him in the film. (spoiler alert) In last scene when everybody is gathered at the beach you can see the pain in everybody’s eyes of not having the man himself there with them.
It’s crazy how death of a person whom I don’t really know is affecting me so much. I only know about him from the sources of media. I’m sure it’s not just me. There must have been others who are went through the same emotions after watching the film as I did. He was a really amazing person. And that is the reason that people are having such an emotional reaction to the film. It is after all going to be the last film by him. And if they make FF8 he won’t be a part of that film(physically I mean).
But we all might be turning our blind eyes to his brothers Cody walker and Caleb Walker. They stepped in and finished the film for him and of course the work with Reach out worldwide (ROWW). I can’t even imagine functioning proper if(God forbid) I ever lose my sibling. They deserve to be saluted for that.
I hope they keep this up. I hope people wouldn’t forget Paul Walker’s legacy.
I can’t think of how to end the post so I’m just going to go now. Take good care of yourselves out there. Loads of Love.
TUDles.. ❤ ❤ ❤
P.S. He’s truly missed.! Love. RIP Paul Walker. (When I See You Again.)
