TAG: 9 Tumblr Question Challenge

Hey there!

How are you doing? Having good day??(It will be so cool if someday people would actually answer me in comment section that, “Yea, I’m having great day 🙂 ” or “No, It just sucks 😡 ” or anything.) I hope you all are having good day.

So, you might know that I love reading TAG posts and challenges and so I found this super cool tumblr account who has list of TAG challenges. And I found this 9 question challenge which has really nice questions. Honestly I want to read answers of other bloggers as I find it best way to communicate and get to know them. So I will write down my answers and tag some bloggers.(If you’re tagged and you don’t want to participate than don’t and if you’re not tagged and still wanna participate, consider yourself tagged.) You can make a post on it or you can write in comment section, whatever you find comfortable.

LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN

1. What’s your definition of beauty?
(I really believe that “Beauty is in the eye of beholder.”)
About my view on beauty. I find that the people who are comfortable with their flaws are most beautiful people (may be because it’s so difficult. I am not that comfortable with my flaws and that’s why the blog is called ‘The Ugly Duckling’s Life’). And of course a good heart and intellectual mind is just lovely.

2. Have you ever change your appearance or personality when meeting someone new?
No. May be personality, a tiny bit. I mean I can’t be entirely myself when I’m meeting someone new for the first time. I’m usually shy. But once I get comfortable with someone I’m crazy weird.(Now I can’t be that, can I?)

3. When’s the last time you dedicated your time to do homework, project, etc?
If I consider blog post as a project than I’m doing it right now. If I think about school work it would be last month before final submission of our work.

4. What’s your fears? Did you overcome those fears?
(Where do I begin.!)
Ok, seriously, Height, Water, bugs. I’m ok with fear of height and water as long as I have someone I trust around me. But fear of bugs is still there. I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon.

5. What’s the appropriate age to marry someone you love?
Any age. As long as two people fully understand the meaning of marriage it’s fine.(of course you have to be legally old enough to get married).

6. Have you ever done anything extreme over the years?
Umm..

I can’t think of anything. I tried to scare off the lizard yesterday.(If that counts.!) My heart was pounding out of my chest.

7. List your dream team. (Put together 5 celebrities, athletes, fictional characters etc you would like to see work with someday)
Channing Tatum, Hulk, Vin Diesel,Jim Carrey, Tweety.(weirdest, I know.)

8. Have you or someone ever stood up to someone?
Yes. There was this mean teacher in school when I was in 11th Standard. I actually thought he was psycho.

9. What’s the most difficult decision you had to make?
If I should let myself forgive someone I really hated. I have actually never hated anyone but that person. Now I don’t hate him. Still haven’t forgiven. But getting there.

  3. 1. What’s your definition of beauty?
    My definition of beauty is someone with kind and sincere heart or with moderate to pretty face. It’s good to have both combination but nobody is perfect, so if I should choose I would prefer someone with kind heart and moderate face compared with someone who is deadly as a snake and pretty. You know I need less drama from girls.

    2. Have you ever change your appearance or personality when meeting someone new?
    Nope, I used to be but I am tired of it and teared my mask open. So here I am without any masks.

    3. When’s the last time you dedicated your time to do homework, project, etc?
    There is no last time, I am always dedicated for projects except I wasn’t dedicated for school lol

    4. What’s your fears? Did you overcome those fears?
    Fear of spider yes. It came when I was watching a TV. I was still a kid by that time. Spiders are everywhere multiplying, at the roof, underground preparing to attack. There is no room to escape, and they are very sneaky. They could kill you in an instant they jumped into your body. Tarantula. Yes that’s the spider but sometimes I wonder I begin to feel normal when seeing those spidey pictures. Could it be because Spiderman is a hero??

    5. What’s the appropriate age to marry someone you love?
    Depends, if you are ready.

    6. Have you ever done anything extreme over the years?
    Nope, I am becoming normal as I grow older but I want to do skydiving someday 🙂

    7. List your dream team. (Put together 5 celebrities, athletes, fictional characters etc you would like to see work with someday)
    Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawk Eye, Captain America. I need to study their power 😀

    8. Have you or someone ever stood up to someone?
    Nope I think.

    9. What’s the most difficult decision you had to make?
    Choice whether to study abroad or not.

      as a kid I liked spiders (of course because of spiderman. same pinch!) but as I grew up nd found out that they can kill you and all love vanished. Haha..

      I still hate spiders up until now but I found the defenseless little one to be cute lol
      I have no other specific reasons to hate spiders besides they can pop out of nowhere and sneakily kill you with poison.
      I don’t mind torturing them with flame thrower till burnt to death. I despise it when they jump so fast and crawl to your body. It’s just much horror than a ghost movie.

    4. I hate musquitos as well but they are not creepy. I just dislike the annoying flying sounds around my ears. I would prefer to kill them with my bare hands. Other bugs like cockroaches I use bugs spray though I can also use sandals.

      How about the flying cockroaches? I was afraid at first but if the cockroaches dare to touch me. You know what will happen….”their extinction” a quote from Ultron.

  5. 1. what is your definition of beauty?

    I define beauty as someone that is kind and generous in their soul. I have known attractive people that were very selfish and the internal selfishness ruined their outward beauty.

    2. have you ever change your personality or appearance when meeting someone new?

    when I was a younger man and less mature I would play the game with girls like most boys play the game. If she liked cats than I like cats. If she liked to crochet then I liked to crochet. But as I got older and more mature I realized that I enjoy myself more when I was true to myself.

    3. when is the last time you dedicated yourself to homework or a project?

    my writing topic requires me to continually learn new ways to help people realize their greatness. So I am always reading books and articles to educate myself to help my readers.

    4. what are your fears? Did you overcome them?

    for many years one of my biggest fears was stepping out and taking risks. But once I did that I realize that the fearwas actually much bigger in my own head than it was in reality.fears are much easier to overcome once you begin the process of taking action, but the longer you allow that fear to live in your head the stronger that fear becomes.

    5.what is the appropriate age to marry someone you love?

    it’s tough to designate an age to marriage, although I will say deciding to marry someone takes tremendous maturity. There’s more to marriage than just being in love and often times you have to fall back on the commitment and the oath that you made to your spouse. So instead of age I will say if the two individuals understand the true word of commitment and are willing to commit no matter what, then they are ready for marriage.

    6.have you ever done anything extreme over the years?

    I’m not a big fan of extreme activities. the most extreme activity I have participated in was scuba diving with sharks in the water. They were not very close to us, but they were still in the water!

    7. list your dream team.

    James the Just (brother of Jesus), Malcolm X, Edward Norton, Captain America and author John Shelby Spong.

    8. have you ever stood up to someone?

    Yes. The first time I remember standing up for myself was against a neighborhood friend who acted somewhat like a bully. We argued, then we fought, and he “won” if I recall correctly. But after that he did not mess with me again

    9. what is the most difficult decision you had to make?

    The most difficult decision I ever had to make was when I decided to retire from competitive golf. I played as a professional golfer for a number of years and after many weeks of traveling in 2004,and being tired, I decided to quit the game of golf. It was a very difficult decision but one that I do not regret.

    2. I appreciate the kind words. I love Imagine! I tend to be an idealist and romantic; I want to believe in the ultimate goodness of mankind, although sometimes i have my doubts! Lol. But in the end I know we are all capable of more and more of doing right by our brothers and sisters.

    3. I agree. I mean there is bad in the world, of course but if I myself first work on being good and doing the right thing as much as I can than may be someday others around me somehow copy me(haha) and do so too..

  6. Extremely sorry for the delay, here are my answers 🙂

    1. What’s your definition of beauty?
    Beauty is very subjective in my case, I find confident people to be beautiful, people who write as beautifully as their souls and open up a window to their lives and souls. Who take the time out of their life to help someone, who will stand by you, no matter what, yet will tell you when you are wrong or stray away, can have endless conversations over a cup of chai or just stay silent when you have nothing to say. Who may not talk to you everyday but when they do talk, they make it worth the wait.

    2. Have you ever change your appearance or personality when meeting someone new?
    I’m unnaturally cold the first time people meet me, but then I warm up to them with time. As such never tried to do it on purpose, somethings are manufacturing defects 😛

    3. When’s the last time you dedicated your time to do homework, project, etc?
    Always, I try to make time for my music, painting, writing,reading, studies, work and people. Just that sometimes the priority order may shift.

    4. What’s your fears? Did you overcome those fears?
    I have an irrational fear of not being able to read everything beautiful and not being able to visit all those places bookmarked, To not find my true passion in life and not be good at what I do.
    A long shot from over coming them, but then I make an effort, one step at a time 🙂

    5. What’s the appropriate age to marry someone you love?
    There is no appropriate age, it all depends on people. However for me, it would be ideal to take the plunge only when I’m financially independent and have found the love of my life, even if there is a long wait.

    6. Have you ever done anything extreme over the years?
    I have this bad temper, so does throwing a chair at someone seem extreme? 😛

    7. List your dream team. (Put together 5 celebrities, athletes, fictional characters etc you would like to see work with someday)
    A.R Rahman, Haruki Murakami, Brandon Stanton, Elon Musk, Shaheen Mistry.

    8. Have you or someone ever stood up to someone?
    Many a times, I was bullied for a while at school and made that my guard to emerge stronger, which is why when I see someone getting bullied or treated badly, I stand up for them. But always maintain that only you can do things for yourself, if you won’t stand up for yourself, why will anyone else?

    9. What’s the most difficult decision you had to make?
    Lots of difficult decisions, but the toughest one would be to let go.
