Indian Pride.! Hmph..

Last week when we were getting ready to get back home from family trip we saw that the city we live in is on high alert because of swine flu. It says over 1000 lives has been lost this year in India by this disease. So it’s obvious that we should all take care of ourselves and wear masks whenever we go out. It’s the least we can do.

So when my father went outside today he had his mask on. The lady whose mother lives in neighborhood ran into my dad as soon as she saw the mask she said, ” Uncle to bau dari gaya.!!” ( Uncle Got real scared, ha!!) Well, it has pissed me off. Big time.! Not just because it was insulting to talk to an elderly person that way, I’m also annoyed by her ignorance to the seriousness of the situation. And hearing from someone who is in medical field, that’s pretty scary for me as a person who lives in this country. How can you expect to recover from any disease that’s killing loads of people around you when the public just thinks taking precaution as something laughable.

It’s not. It’s so not.! YOU CAN NOT TAKE THESE THINGS LIGHTLY. YOU MIGHT DIE, YOU IDIOTS.!

That’s harsh but as I said it’s pissing me off. Death is a serious matter. it changes the people around the one who passes away. Please people take care of yourselves and people around you as well. Please.

We Indians are too proud to take precautions against anything. I could write a long big post on that matter. May be Later this month I will. Before going offline now I will ask everybody to take care of themselves and take some precautions against swine flu.
Please.!!
Ask people around you to do so as well. Let’s save as many lives as we can.
TUDles.. ❤
